Executive coaching is a must for CEOs and executive directors, says Sir Charles Shaw
The coaching industry is still relatively young and therefore fragmented. Few senior executives understand the difference between mentoring and coaching. “It’s semantics!” All they want is for someone to help develop their leadership and executive skills so their businesses continue to grow
and prosper. For the sake of this article let’s call it executive coaching with the caveat that the coach must be an experienced business person who will ask the right questions and will offer additional options based on their experiences to enable the person being coached (the trainee) to make their own decisions.
