The Ministry of Labour (MoL) has officially announced that all companies operating in Oman must register on the national Tawteen platform: www.tawteen.om.
What is Tawteen?
Tawteen (“Localisation”) is a strategic initiative led by the Omani government to promote Omanisation—the employment of Omani nationals across various sectors, particularly in the private sector. This initiative supports Oman’s Vision 2040 to create a sustainable and diversified economy. It will be used as a hiring and recruitment aid for international companies in Oman and to apply for jobs internationally.
As part of this regulation, Tawteen will now be used to process labour clearances and visa requests for employees. Companies are required to register immediately to remain compliant and ensure continuity of their employee-related processes. We recommend doing the registration by the end of June 2025.

- The platform enables tracking of Omanisation ratios and compliance
- Annual registration fee:
- 1–10 employees: OMR 50 + VAT
- 11–150 employees: OMR 150 + VAT
- 151+ employees: OMR 200 + VAT
What You Need to Do – For Bondoni retained clients only:
- Nominate a company employee to be registered in the Tawteen system, along with their email address and mobile number. OTPs for verification will be sent during the initial registration process, so please ensure the nominated person is available and responsive.
- Share the details with our team. Bondoni will handle the entire registration process on your behalf, including the setup and submission.
- Post-registration, Bondoni will continue to support your company on the Tawteen platform, with a dedicated team member delegated for follow-up actions whenever necessary.
