New Government Changes PASI and Individual Document Attestations - What you need to know?

PASI (Now called SPF)

You may have experienced difficulties obtaining invoices and statements from PASI.

Although there has been no official announcement this is to inform you of the changes that the government are making and the reasons for the confusions.

Firstly, PASI (Public Authority for Social Insurance) has changed its name to the Social Protection Fund (SPF), Royal Decree 52/2023. The aim is to enhance the social welfare framework by creating a single and unified social protection fund to improve financing and to provide a wide range of benefits to workers and families. To achieve this, all the pension funds are unifying under one system and the consequence is that system modifications may take up to another 3 months to complete before we are able to obtain our receipts etc.

Please continue to pay your contributions as normal. We will let you know when we hear of any updates. Equally, we would appreciate it if received any updates before us so we can pass it on to all our clients.

Individual document attestations

Bondoni is frequently asked to attest individual (employees or families) personal documents such as marriage, birth education certificates etc.

This is no longer possible so each individual must take on the responsibility to do it themselves. It also varies from country to country so please initially contact your embassy to establish whether they can help you or whether the documents need to be attested in your country.

As usual we will keep you informed of any changes that are sprung on us!
